With our first ever honor walk we set out to remember the fallen and honor the heroes of D-Day and the invasion of Normandy in 1944.
Our veterans who fought in the battle faced extreme challenges from the opposition, many departing in deep water to cross the open beach and scale the forward cliffs. The allies lost close to 5000 men on D-Day alone.
When all was said and done with our first honor walk, we saw 800+ men, women, and children around the world march in solidarity to honor all who defended freedom during the D-Day invasion.
We can’t thank everyone enough for supporting BDF on our first global honor walk.
